Hey, Hi to all.
Its my first post here, and im so sad it is becouse of a plant problem.
Its my first grow.
The plant was planted by a friend, who gave it to me. So, 5 days ago i took the plant to my growing closet. 4 25w cfl´s.

It was my first time using this closet, and i read that these plants can stand high temperatures. My temp was 95.
I dont know if this problem was becouse of HEAT, or becouse of OVERWATERING.

Now, i lowered the temp a lot, between 78 and 80, using 4 coolers.

The plant stoped getting worst, and its like in a -standby- condition.

Do plants get like this becouse of heat?

Overwatering can make this too?

HELLPPPP PEOPLE!!! i dont want her to die :(
Its Jack Herer :(

overwater usually cause leaf droop. looks like heat to me. you heard wrong. 95*F is way too hot. 70-80 degrees is acceptable. the standstill in your plants growing is most likely heat stress. and it may already be too late to save your jack. sorry for the bad news, hope it survives.

holly hell.

well, how do i know then if she will make it?

up to now, she has not been getting worst.
she is like in stand-by mode

only time will tell. if its not getting worse, it could just be saying, "whoa, holy fuck that was some heat! guess i'll hang around and see if better temps come." just give it time. prepare for the worst and hope for the best.

you aren't using any nutes yet are you?

Those leaves are curled due to heat.
anything over 90 can be deadly.
mist her with water about twice a day and pray.

Could do with info on the soil you are using and nutrients you're feeding her. Definatley suffered from the heat issue but I think theres evidence of nute burn there. MJ can stand high temps only if you are supplying it with lots of pure CO2... otherwise... 70 - 80 is fine.

those pics make me think late stages of nute burn some also(but i also see some leaf tips that are not burned at the tips so idk). if you have the option to start over imo that would be best. Even if they survive and you might be looking at a long term recovery with almost no growth.
GL hope all works out:pimp:
