I'm having a hard time nailing down my actual PH... Do I dip my tester into the rez itself to test the solution.... Or, do I take a sample in a glass cup and read PH from sample... I ask because it seems like my HANNA "Checker" is very static sensitive and if I touch it the reading is affected, sometimes largely... The glass method and the straight from the rez method DO NOT give me the same readings... My common sense tells me the "in the glass" method...Any thoughts?

I'm gonna stop by a store today hopefully and get a new probe and some calibration solutions, so I just need to know HOW I should be checking my PH.... Thanks in advance.

One of my bro's has my hanna PH / PPM /EC meter and we just go to the rez. He has four to check. No problem and calibrate about every month. A Hanna should not be giving any different in the glass or rez. Mine doesn't.

it shouldn't be any different.all your doing is testing the same water in 2 different locations, by taking the water out of the res your adding more variables. your glass could have soap or other chems in it that didn't get washed out and there screwing with you. just test out of the res.
