I'm doing this grow with a single 19 watt energy efficient bulb, Regular MiracleGro potting mix, Plant food, all in a bucket in the corner of my dorm room. Heh.

Please check out the pics and tell me what you think! I tried putting them in chronological order. Oh yeah, one plant disappears from the bunch in the fourth picture... it was male :(

Now that its in flowering, ill add some more pictures next week or so.

little off topic but i didnt think its worth a new thread

but its regarding the energy efficient light bulbs as i have some at home

i was jus wandering if these are usable throughout the plants lifetime to be used on a low budget grow

Energy efficients seem to work well for my plants, though using more power and some cfl's or hps would give a much bigger yield. Basically, if youre broke but want to grow, use em. :thumbsup:

To answer Sketchy Tom's question... Yes, you can use the CFL bulbs throughout a grow, just be sure to use the right light spectrums, meaning 6500K "daylight" spectrum bulbs for veg, and 2700K warm white for flower.

Faddenator, your babies are looking pretty good. The biggest one in that last pic looks like it's beginning to show signs of leaf clawing, which is a sign of nute burn and/or that your pH may be a little off kilter. I had the same thing happen to a plant I grew in similar conditions (Miracle Gro soil & plant food, etc).
Get a good pH meter (you can get one for about $20 on Ebay) and then flush them out real well with water that's been adjusted to about 6.5 to 7.0... That should alleviate the problem, since it looks pretty early in developing.
