Well, i can't say i've ever gone without being involved. I was in many orchestras and bands throughout my school days and Actually being in the orchestra is amazing...high or not (usually not at that point in my life).

Definitely go. It's one of those things that needs support from today's youth.

If you ever get the chance go see a field show/drum corp show/marching band competition. Dunno where you are at, but the carrier dome in syracuse NY has a few bad ass shows every year.

Keep an eye out for the Madison Scouts or the Top Secret drum corp coming near you. you will NOT be disappointed.

hell yeah, madison scouts are off the chain. so are the blue devils and the cavie's, but i haven't really been keeping up with dci in the past year or two. I was a big fan of indoor drumline, i did that for four years.

But back to the question at hand, you should definitely go to the orchestra. Get really baked before and you'll enjoy it like 30x times more, too. You'll be able to feel the music and stuff, its crazy. Don't know too much about the trans siberian orchestra though. Never seen them.

Go for it. I've played in school, regional, all-state, pit (musical theatre and opera), chamber, and even a Turkish orchestra in my day... lol. The Trans-Siberian Orchestra should be a cool and trippy time.

That sounds awesome. I go to about 4-6 symphony shows a year and they're all fantastic. It's awesome to go whether you're high or sober. I definitely am more into it when I'm high but it's a great experience regardless. :hippy:

ya it was spectacular! first half or so was christmas themed and they talked alot about like birth of christ then would jam out some christmas songs rock and roll orchestra style but left about half way through unfortunately. I heard after i left from some other friends i saw there that they started doing like zeppelin and other older rock songs which i would have really enjoyed... awe well next year hopefully they come again and i can go see it again.

what instrument did you play stinky?

Violin, since I was about 3. Plus I worked as a luthier for ~4 years part time. I can play em, AND I can fix 'em!
