Greetings...after reading many thread on here about indoor growing I have decided to give it a shot. I currently have 12 plants started in my closet. They are roughly 2 weeks old and about 4-6 inches in height. Ive got them under 2 florescent tubes and they seem to be going ok.
I am on an 18/6 light schedule and the plants are getting kinda tall. A couple of them are starting to flop over a little bit, what would you suggest? I will attempt to get some pictures on here so you can see for yourselves, but w/o a digital camera not sure how much luck I will have.
Thank in advance to anyone who takes the time to respond, it is greatly appreciated.:rastasmoke:

I think a soon-to-be issue is that amount of lumens powering your 12 plants. I don't think 2 flourescents will solve this....
Droopiness? - are you overwatering them?
Good luck tho, inclined to see more some pics

i was thinking the amount of light they were getting wasnt enough, but i was trying to work with what i already had around the house. the people that lived here before me left 2 big florescent lights with 2 tubes in each of the lights in the garage so i swiped one of them to ghetto rig the closet grow i had going on. maybe i should do away with a couple of the plants considering the fact that im not going to have room for 12 plants if/when they get larger anyway, huh?
thanks for the response, anyone else?

The light intensity will have an effect on them, especially that many plants. They may also get droopy with weak stems. Putting a fan on them, not too hard, will gently cause them to move around, strengthening the stem over time. Too much water will also do it for sure, the leaves will usually droop down at the ends also.

Sounds like weak stems to me also. Note if you haven't sexed your plants yet throwing away the males will give you more room in the closet. good luck, I never have nerve to try myself indoors!
