But let's say you have some perfectly cured buds that has a purpleish tint all over. I'm assuming this is genetics, but I want to know, why does the purple show up at all and does it really have any association with potency or is it simply superficial?

nah if its naturaly purple its genetics
but i dunno about turning your plants purple with low tempretures i would think that would lower potency due to stress (i could be wrong:stoned:)
i think people who buy weed think its better because looks differant
like a placebo effect
