That would be an excellent idea for a first grow our if your just messing around with new ideas. If your trying to be serious and get a large quantity of top shelf herb that is gonna be female, you would probably want to buy seeds from a vendor.
My grows have all been bagseeds because it is just for me and my girl and I can't devote alot of time and money to the grow. So if I goof up its no biggie just bagseed. The weed I get from my own plant is way better than the stuff they call good in my neighborhood. Also 'cause I grew it which is much more satisfying.

just take care of the plant from the bagseed better. It's quality would surpass the quality of the bud you got the seed from.

Why waste all that time and effort on bagseed? Get some killer beans and make all that work and effort really pay off. It will be months of daily care to get a crop, bad seed robs you of your time and effort.

Absolutely! save a variety of seeds from particularly good bags that you happen to pick up - you will have a wide range of phenotypes. Clone each plant before you bloom. You'll be able to see how each plant grows, what kind of yield/flavor/high, etc. each plant has and you can use the clone of your favorite for your mother plant for future grows.
If you order seeds, you get the advantage of skipping this initial 'weeding-out' and selection process to some extent, but you can get excellent results from bagseed.

I take a slight offense to this... bagseed quite often yields a wonderful harvest and is great for beginners or people who don't have the cash to front for some beans...
No hard feelins... but come'on
This was done under a 400w HPS for three weeks of flower up til the date on the pic... bagseed... you should smell it... WOWZAS:rastasmoke:
