GAVITA 600w HPS with internal reflector

600 watt HPS + coco = serious buds...

what's an 'internal reflector'?...built into the bulb? I can see the bulb in your first pic and notice light not shining up...:stoned:

Yes - built in :) It prevents heat and light spread.
PH 5.8 Ec 1700-2300 (US ppm 1200-1600)
By the way I have first trouble!

I think I have figured out the problem, probably it could be calcium lock out or ph inbalance. I will flush with water tomorrow and will maintain ph levels between 6 - 6.5
Will see what will happen

And again I don't know what to do, some people say that PH fluctuation can bring in even more lockout problems. Should I stay at 5.8 or go up?

I think found the problem. Recalibrated ph meter (used to show +.2 of original reading).
Tomorrow I will give my babys 6.4 ph water to maintain good ph level and will keep with 5.8. Bom Bolenat!

Watered PH 6.35, as a result I could see curling leafes. Tomorrow Feeding with PH 5.8. To eliminate any problems in future will keep recalibrating ph meter every two weeks and PH will be kept at 5.8-6.
XXXhaze thankyou for keeping an eye

Week 8 started!
And here is my double decker had worked last two days to rebuild my box.
Test run with low fan speed.
Enjoy

Hello Intruder, I had been absent for along time. The best setup starts from the best light spectrum, look at the light spectrum of the hps near you first. Then look at the power.
I have picked gavita 600w cause they have build in reflector, my second choice would be OSRAM gro lux 400w, as their spectrum is very good!. But you also should look at this thread http://boards.cannabis.com/growroom-setup/31194-sealed-room-3lbs-light.html
