I just noticed this forum on google search when I was looking up information on different strains. I just wanted to drop a line and say hi to everyone. :D
The information available on this site has been very helpful so far. I look forward to being a positive contributor to this community.
Anyways, here are some pics of the toys I picked up recently. I had originally purchased a PHX w/ a diffused downstem, multiple domed percs, splash guard, and ice catcher. It was involved in a fluke accident and the tube cracked at the base of one of the domed percs. It is repairable, but unfortunately I will probably lose one of the domed percs.
During the PHX's downtime, I decided to pick up this 33" bong made by PURE Glass. The main selling point for me was it was taller and came with a diffused ash catcher. The height difference makes it easier to hit while on the couch and the ash catcher keeps the bong water cleaner and the hits smoother.
With my great luck, one day as I was moving the PURE Glass bong I barely hit the ash catcher with my leg and the elbow on the ash catcher snapped. I ended up going to my local headshop to look at other ash catchers and came home with a ROOR that had a tree perc, which hits really nice! One main thing I noticed was that the water level in the ROOR ash catcher stays at the perfect spot for the diffusers to work properly. The water level on the PURE Glass ash catcher would always end up too low, which would effect the smoothness of each hit. The attention to detail that the ROOR ash catcher displayed turned me on to looking in to more ROOR products, which I literally just purchaed from the UK and is on its way as we speak :)
