What would you consider a light, moderate, and heavy user?

I've always been curious, but what do you guys consider to be a light weed smoker, moderate smoker, and a heavy smoker.

my thoughts are: (all one session per day)
light- smoking once a month
moderate- smoking twice a week
heavy- smoking 5-7 days a week

I really don't include vaporizers though...:jointsmile:

A dabbler would be once a month, light maybe once in a week, I think you can still only be moderate if you just smoke a real small bedtime bowl each night, heavy is multiple sessions everyday

I go more by weight.

1/8th or less a week = light
1/8 to 1/2 a week = medium
An oz or more per week = heavy.

I smoke everyday, all day, about a quarter every 1 1/2-2 weeks.So im a heavy smoker.:jointsmile:and proud of it;)

i smoke between 1/2-3/4 a week which i class as heavy smoking, an 1/8-1/4 moderate anything less light smoker:jointsmile:

I agree with psychocat's definitions, going by weight.

The way I would say it is this:
- Light use is up to three times per week. (with one "time" being about a joint's worth... a gram, give or take a little)
- I'd say moderate use is between 3 times per week and every day, but never more then once per day (like once in the evening, or once in the morning, but never both).
- Heavy use is every day of the week, with multiple sessions each day.

If you do the math, it comes out to basically what psychocat said, he just did it by weight.

I personally am a light user. I like to feel the same "high" each time I smoke a joint. For me, the only way to do that is to keep my use to "light".

i'd consider myself a moderate/average smoker. I smoke like half a bowl in the morning before I go to work just to start the day off right, then depending on what time i get home i'll smoke between one and three bowls. Sometimes i get off work early around 3:00 pm so thats when i'll smoke more, but I usually have class til 8 or 9 pm so i usually only have time to smoke a little bit in the am and a bowl or two at night. I average between 1/4th and 1/2 an oz each week.
