Hello, Im new to growing ive purchased the "Jorge Cervantes" grow dvd's ive purchased multiple growing books and done a great deal of research, I have a trip to mexico in a few months so Im not going to start till i get back but This is what I have in idea just for a small grow for some personal chronic :D

Sorry for the paint design I had something drawn up but this is a bit nicer :P

If you've got any ideas of what I should add please let me know.

I will also be adding ventillation so don't worry about that, I was just curious on what nutrients to buy and what kind of fluorescents I should use and if I can use them for both stages? Let me know, thanks. I will also be using Expanded clay grow rocks and rockwool blocks.

The Ballast for that light should be part of the bulb itself so no you do not need a ballast. How is the water going to be given to the plants? on a drip stake or?? The reason why I ask is you have to remember that Rockwool holds water VERY well so your water time might be a little to much but you prob wont know for sure until it is up and running. The CFL's will prob work ok for Vegging but when it comes to Flowering you cant beat the difference a true HPS light will do for you. Lastly take your time installing the Mylar, can be a little hard to work with. Be carefull about wrinkles and such as hot spots can be created. 2 sided poly (white/black) is allot easier to work with. Is normally thicker (4 mil) and allot more forgiving when trying to clean and maintain. As for Nutes I have been using General Hydroponics nutes with very good luck. I only use the FloraMicro and FloraBloom and get plenty of N/P/K that is needed. I also use a decent size airstone in my res to keep the O2 up in the res.
