View Full Version : attic grow worried about winter

hey i got my grow goin in an attic and it doesnt have any installation on the walls and the temps are suppost to get down in the high 30's tonight. i need to know at temps they can handle and if i need to bring them down or if it will be ok to leave them up there. i would but its a difficult situation to get them out and i was just making sure before i did anything

I would suggest that you know how cold your attic is gettin up there compared to the outside. And if you look around theses threads you might find some useful info. But I would put a small space heater up there if its not a big area just to make sure they dont freeze. But i also dont know your attic so that could be a fire hazzard be cautious what ever you do.

a friend of mine uses a small electric oil filled radiator,,says it works well and it helps save electric cos hot oil takes awhile to cool down so it comes on only when needed,,hope that helps

Yeah thats what i use no chance of a fire they have a built in thermostat.
