Need Advise on 600 watt hps

Okay i Have a 600 watt Hps Light. I am wondering what is a good size area i should use to grow. I know that I wanna have about 50 watts a sq. ft. But i am looking for opions from other people, who use/ or have used 600 hps before. I guess just don't wanna have heat problems an i always like other peoples input. Any insight is appreciated an taken into consideration.

4' x 4' is good...you've got enough light to cover that well. You could go smaller, but a smaller room will increase heating/cooling issues.

No matter what, you're going to have to deal with heat/ventilation with a light of that size.

Thanx I was kinda determine to go 4X4 but was told 4X3 would be better. I just like to have a couple opions before I start to build one, And come to find out i should have went another way ya know.I know ima have to deal with cooling so I got a Air vented hood. Just trying to determine an build everything right before i touch any of the seeds. Don't want any mistakes I like to smoke good Budz, But I like to watch my plants grow and flower even more i guess. I Also would like to know if Nirvana White Widow is good strian to start out with.? Any other suggestions greatly appreciated greatly. Thanx for ya time again my fellow smokers

I'm not the most experianced grower. But I get really good results with my 600w hps, doin 10-12 plants, in a 4x3 area.

Alright ima go with what you say Dutch i been lurking around for the last couple years and finally decided to do a indoor. And i appreciate you all for your advise and stopping by.

Check out my grow log under indoor growing. I'm using a 600w hps with an air cooled hood and a 6in inline HD fan, its in the closet with the doors removed making the grow room about 10x12. Temps stay at 75-85 deg throughout the day and i'll sometimes open the window a bit to lower temps its 50-60deg outside so that definitely helps :) I'm sure i'll need real ventilation in the summer but everything is good so far using the 600w and venting back into the grow room. I also keep the door to the room open so the house regulates the temp some.
