This is my first indoor grow its going pretty well so far I have some questions which I think are pretty basic.

I purchased my clones from the medical dispensary, (3 Purple Urkel, 2 Purple AK47, 1 Lemon Kush, 2 Mr. Nice Guy's) how do I know how old they are? Ppl on here refer to their plant life as day 1, day 2, ect. To me, my plants are on day 2 with me, lol So how do I tell how old they are? I submitted some pics.

I want to keep things pretty simple but I want to do things right as well. I am using black gold soil with cocoblend, I mixed it with perlite before transplanting them into 1gal grow bags, I use foxfarm big grow (1/2 tsp per gal every other watering) seems i'll be watering every other day. I tested the PH and its only at 1.25, should I worry about that right now or let them get adjusted first? Should I adjust the PH using the PH up chemical that you buy at the hydro store and add to the water? or is there something I add to the soil, (dolimite lime?)

Should I test for, or worry about nitrogen?

Whats the easiest/cheapest filter I can put on one of the exhaust tubes when it starts to smell?

I'm sure I will have more questions, any advice/tips is appreciated!!! check out my pics! its a 600w HPS light with a homemade cool tube using hurricane glass, a lot of tape, a 6'' inline exhaust fan, and a bathroom ventilation fan blowing cool air through the tube, works great. Its a small closet, 2x7.

youre on day 2. once you started nutes and put them under that 600 they started vegging.
thats a long skinny space, you might want to get a mover and make sure you dont over veg. are those 3gal grow bags? dont over water, they dont drink much at first but the roots will really take off in a few days and then you can wet them down more. they look nice.
make sure your ph tester is calibrated and working right. my tap water almost always comes out very close to 7.0
if youre able to cover all that grow space with light i bet you end up with at least .6#
good luck

Cover all that grow space with light? Do you think the 600w is not enough?

What do you mean by a mover, and over vegging?

Those are 1gal grow bags but I will put them in larger ones later.

each light and hood has a footprint of the area the light will cover. usually a 600 will cover 3x3 or so. that light in the middle of your room would be lacking about 1.5' on each side. a light mover is on a rail and can move about 6' one side to the other. new they are about 200.
