I have some 15-30-15 water-soluble fertilizer. You're supposed to mix it with the water when you water them. This stuff work for cannabis? Has anyone had any experience with it?

No I always use the nutes that are specifically made for the herb.:jointsmile:

yes it will work, it is better for flowering and not vegitation tho.

How old are ur plants and have u given them any fert yet, if not do not give it a full dose, give them a 1/4 or 1/2 dose.

my plants are about 1.5 weeks old, but they look nothing like any of the plants i've seen on this site. they are super tall and not as low and bushy, oh well!

I have not started any ferts yet, but if you say its better for flowering, i will use it during flowering, just gotta remember to flush it right.

What do you suggest for veg? I just have some all purpose plant feed, like that miracle grow stuff. Or is it time that i get off my lazy ass and go buy something?

u need high nitrogen for vegitation.

oh ya about ur plants being tall,

what kind of lighting dlo u have, sounds like ur plants are stretching(aka need more lights)

They could be Sativa they are tall, or your room temps are cold making them stretch.
Indica are short and bushy.

CFL, 2 seedlings under 1 CFL... i am putting more lights up today

About 1 foot from the seedlings, so I guess i should move the light down.

I will check the room temp then and let you know.

And yes I believe they are sativa. First time grow so i bought half O of some mids so i can start out with that and get through a grow so I know what I'm doing by the time i start to grow some better stuff :]

1 foot is way way to high, your plants are stretching to it most likely

Move the light 2 inches away.

Sativa take longer to yeild than indica so be prepared to wait longer for your harvest.

I will move the light to 2 inches. For the two seedlings i have 1 26w bulb, but now that they are getting bigger, I am setting 3 26W CFL's for the 2 plants. Should that be enough all the way through Veg and Flower? Mind you that they will be LST'd so they will not be very tall or large in any way.
