aaaaaagh! Reverse users please help

i saw some twinging on some pistols and found nanners

what is wierd though is the red and purple trichs not amber
has anybody else seen this

ok how long do i have to get some reverse. and what kind of results do you get will it stop seeding all together or is it to late for the infected pistols currently im ripping off the ones i can see but some dropped already

Keep removing them. I believe it is too late for Reverse at this point.
Yes, some strains- rarely- will make pink trichomes. I have seen a picture of Subcool's PINK full-melt bubblehash back when he used to post pics here. It was neat.

thamks stink, do you think reverse will harm them at this point im in week four day 3 and how much of the seed will devlop in the next month. im thinking of getting the reverse any way cause only the supposedly mk have nanners. no other strain, so im thinking genetics not stress. and i say supposedly mk cause it smalle kinda kushy sometimes and kinda choclatey at others. and the fan leaves have the deepest red and purple trichs at first i thought the bud was purple but after i got out my scope i saw it was the trichs, it looks wierd but i want to smoke it already

Another month to harvest will let the seeds develop enough to pluck out easily.
I do not know much about reverse. I believe it must be used from the start of flower.
Just keep monitoring for more nanners, and wait for someone to stop by- I'm chanign the thread title to help!

The directions on the bottle say to use Reverse on Day 1 and then again on Day 10 of flowering to prevent male flowers. However, if you look at my signature you'll see a link to a thread I started a couple of grows ago when my White Widows hermied. I sprayed them down on day 25 of flowering and it worked. I've also heard of other growers using it later on in flower with good results - not 100%, but good enough to justify the cost.

I'd give it a shot, honestly. It won't really hurt your plants and it might help. Just make sure you use a wetting agent (DM Penetrator or make your own). And be sure you don't spray it on your actual buds, just on the fan leaves. Oh, and I'd turn your lights off for about half an hour after you spray to avoid light burn caused by the focusing effect of the water droplets. I burned the hell out of some of my leaves when I sprayed my girl lol.

I just ordered some reverse because my feminized plants seem to be only growing nanners. (from a light leak I think) How do I make my own penetrator? The DM stuff is kind of expensive for what I can afford right now.

Instead of Penetrator, you can use one drop of liquid soap in the spray bottle. It may not be quite as effective as Penetrator, but it is still functional as a spreader/sticker to make foliar sprays work.
Just outta curiosity... were your fems from Greenhouse Seeds?

No, they are from a hermie grow I did with bag seeds. I'm hoping reverse will salvage my beautiful plants that appear to be a huge let down. At least if they do not start producing some buds soon. They are just over two weeks of 12/12 and I don't see anything that would look like a female bud.

So will dish soap work, or should it be hand soap?

Reverse instructions say use it on day 1 , and day 10 or 14 of 12/12 light cycle . I'm stonmed n forget :stoned: = Your too late - save it for next grow . Keep pluckin nanas manually .

I've been starting to think they may be, although I do not know how they could be. I eliminated all the males from the first grow as I found them. Then the females grew some beautiful bud that suddenly went hermie. So I ended getting a ton of seeds. Some plants hermied VERY badly, so maybe it was actually a male that I didn't notice right away that hermied and now I have a bunch of male seeds.

Early in this grow one of my plants had two long pistils coming out of each side of the main stem at one of the lower nodes. I did grow it in a cabinet at 12/12 with some flowering plants for a few weeks, so maybe it went into flower then when I moved into my house I switched it to veg and it may have shocked it. The pistils showed up after switching it to veg. I also moved them from crappy soil to a DWC hydro system. After they got used to the hydro they exploded with growth. Which is why it will be so dissapointing if this grow doesn't produce any bud. Oh well, I guess I should set up my cab again to start vegging while these ones finish doin whatever they decide to do.

Crispi, I've heard of others using it on days other then first day of flower, so I'm going to give it a shot. Not like I'm going to be wasting all that much if it doesn't work. Never know if you don't try, especially if trying isn't going to cause any harm.

well ive used reverse and i am closing in on harvest, up til now i have had fewer nanners than last time. but i must state that i didnt use reccomende directions

first off i used soap instead of penetrator, second i targeted the under side of the leaves only to find later that i should read the directions insted of remebering them and spray the tops of the leaves

with that i must say that the nanners i did see would pop out and shrivel up but not open and i havnt seen any seeds except for one in a spot where i remember a nanner

last time i was avg 3 seeds per g and have had none in a quarter

shes ready at 8 weeks (cloudy) with herm signs at about 6 but doesnt start toturn amber till week 11-12. if you leave her past 8 she will throw pistols and the buds will grow buds and her weight doubles its beutiful but the reason i keep her is her high. shes mind blowing for the first 30 -45 minutes then the high comes down to a great thought provoking energy, confidence buiding long lasting 2-3 hour high

and with that i must say its worth another try with penetrator and ill think about spraying the tops:D
