This guy is a HOOT! I wonder how the left would be reacting if it was Palin making these statements?
How many fifth graders would ask a dude in a wheel chair to stand up?

aaaaaaaaaaaaaand we're still avoiding the important things. Mission Accomplished.
Also, Bush asked a blind reporter to take off his sunglasses and face him directly. I guess.....a couple people do it?

LOL, LOL, LOL Bush isn't running, LOL, LOL and you want to talk about
avoiding the important things.
they call Joe Biden the 'gaffe machine' in the senate because he messes up
so often, lol, it's not a Republican trick, he really is a putz!

hell it's not even a democrat thing.. the guy is just a douche.. lol. It's just his character as a person in general; always putting his foot in his mouth.
And you're right if Palin did this the media and the left would be screaming off with her head.

Whoopty damn doo. No, i wouldn't be going after palin if she made little mistakes like that. The reason people went after her is because of larger things that show you just how much of a pawn she really is. They need someone they can push around and tell what to do if McCain happens to be taken out of office for some reason.
Bozo, obviously Bush isn't running. Stank was making an EXAMPLE. He wasn't dodging the things that matter at all. Yet you do just that after accusing him he did. So what if he is a gaffe machine, he has very good views on how the country could better itself. Yet we are worried about a few slip ups?
At least these slip ups don't mean that he tried to push some huge pointless project only to later say he didn't want it after he was denied the funding.

Apparently Biden was the poster child that got left behind.

Video 1: It's not uncommon for even whip-smart people to make that mistake. The human brain is a marvelous thing but is easily tricked by things. Like the way a suffix makes a 3-letter word 4-letters. It's not too distantly related to that little mind trick that makes the
the in this sentence easy to pass over without noticing, so I was told in psychology.
Video 2: Am I the only person who hears an immediate apology? And gee, in a room full of people sitting on metal chairs or standing near them, I wonder why he might not have noticed it. By the way, the story of George and the Blind Man wasn't about distracting, it was a tool to point out the hypocrisy of defending one man for a misstep but not another.
Video 3: Wow, that was a Palin-level fuck-up. No arguments there. I thought he might have heard about the New Deal at least once in his time...

if you check his voting record i think you'll find he's been wrong on many,
many foreign policy issues. for example, he voted against the surge which
is the tactic that is winning in Iraq, something McCain is responsible for.
don't you think winning in Iraq is better than losing?

I'd hardly call putting a band-aid over a bullet hole a tactic thats gonna "win" Iraq. However, this cuts to the core of whats different between me and most people, which is VICTORY. Or rather, the impossibility of it. I'm personally incredulous that people really think we can somehow "win" in Iraq. What constitutes winning anyway? A stable government? Yeah fuckin right. I'll say this now; if, by some divine intervention, Iraq is stable and has a democratic government within the next two years, I'll stop smoking weed and leave this site permanently. Now I say this with the utmost confidence that it's total bullshit. You can't "win" in Iraq. You don't "defeat" terrorism. You don't beat an idea, which is FUCK AMERICA. But good luck with that.
Lastly, Obama had the better foreign policy procedure to begin with, I.E. not invading Iraq. Foresight is a blessing, not a curse. Being right now is reaaaaaally pointless when you're wrong to begin with.

Our prolonged involvement in Iraq is a testament to the stubbornness of our leaders and our country. How can we justify the consequences of this war (the soldiers and civilians killed, the way we lost favor in many nations, etc.), and retain such a burning desire to "win"?
Why do you want to "win" anyway? So you can keep telling people from around the world that "USA IS NUMBER ONE!!!"? So we can kill off all the existing terrorists, and incite those who sympathize with them to take up their comrades' fallen arms against us?
Please.
At the end of a war, no matter what, you still have a lot of dead people littering the ground. It's cruel and irreverent to claim victory from atop the corpses of your enemy.

none are so blind as them that will not see
when you were a little boy Jake, did you feel better after a fight you'd just
won or did you feel better after you'd just gotten your ass whipped.
think about it man, whether we should be there or not is a moot point at this
time in history, so we either stay until the Iraqi's have a stable government
or we cut and run, leaving the Iraqi's to be over-run by the Iranians and
every other militant group in the area.
which do you think would be better for the world, a stable Iraq or an
Iraq in chaos?

With that attitude, we won't have peace until every government in the middle east supported by fundamentalist muslims are toppled.
Not to mention the fact that we should politely leave.
Staying would be like watching two people have sex after accidentally stumbling across them thinking "Well, I might as well stay". True, the couple might enjoy your company but it's always best to say "pardon me" and walk out.
Oh and I hated winning fights. Every time I've fought back, I've won, and ended up practically mauling the person...leaving me...ashamed of myself.

War is an ignorant way of solving a conflict or feeling good about yourself after a victory. Anyone who needs to fight and win to feel good should not be in power or have any say in any matter that has to do with the government or our forces.
We should defend our allies and ourselves. Not go into other countries imposing our ways onto them. That is how we got them pissed off at us in the first place. Continuing to do so will just escalate their hatred for us.
Winning for us would be realizing our mistake and pulling out of Iraq, letting them decide their future. From what I understand, we have helped them with military and they can defend themselves now. Lets go back to Afghanistan and finish helping them like we should have done, instead of letting things get worse by taking our troops out and starting war with Iraq for no good reason.
If war is the only answer that we can come up with, then our own destruction will be the result.

politics are for two types of people, and two types of person only:
Those who cannot think for themselves, and those who seek to control others.
WHICH FUCKING CATEGORY DO YOU FUCKING PEOPLE FALL INTO?!?

what we need to do is organize an international strike and just refuse to play the games of politics and jsut DO what needs to be DONE to survive!
to hell with all the rules and politics, they are all useless in the face of what we NEED!
So, instead of worrying about who you're voting for, rally up all your friends and family and start reading about how to survive off the land, and looking into ingenious methods to make the simple life even simpler!
Why are we all playing into the hands of the corporations when we could instead be free?

I agree wholeheartedly with this statement!!!
I hate to dissilusion you rebgirl420
To live our lives with less government intervention is a moot point.
The NeoCons have put government right in our homes. The patriot act did nothing but take our rights away.
Why do you think next February communications are going all digital?
It's sure not to make our lives better!!!
BIG BROTHER IS HERE NOW !!!
At least the government is supposed to uphold the constitution.
Every day, it seems like business is the new government, and I'm not happy about that.
I also agree with this statement!!!
As long as the lobbyist control congress the REAL AMERICANS don't have a chance!!!
The people with the power want to keep it and we don't stand a chance.
The rich get richer and the poor get poorer, it's easier to control that way.
What's the last thing a dictator does when he is getting ousted from power?
He loots the Treasure, shoulda seen that coming!!!
