So I lost this sack of bud, about a bowl's worth, and I'm searching all over my room like a mad man when I found an ash tray with two old roachies in it.
I remember the day I smoked them cause their was a couple people over here and I needed an extra ashtray. It was back in late June-ish. They're now sitting on my desk and I'm contemplating putting them in my bowl and blazing.
I just got off probation yesterday and I wanna smoke. So cannabis forums, would you smoke them or not? Yay OR nay..?

I dont see why not. A bit old perhaps, but otherwise untouched it seems. It'll likely have a bit of dust on them, so taking the nug out of the paper is advisable, provided the roaches are of a good size.

With bud that ages like that, I usually take it out and break it up again, checking for any type of mold. It's never found. (Paranoia became a lifestyle.)
Blaze.

A friend and I smoke some bud that was over 5 years old that his dad took from him when he was in high school. We smoked the roaches and the bud and got ripped. Smoke it man.....

Yeah for real, toke it up man! Roaches are what I like to call "resinated" That is, the weed already filtered most of the smoke from the joint when you smoked it the first time, so it usually gets me extra-high, compared to just a regular bowl. Might taste kinda gross though, but a real man can get past that, haha.

Old weed can taste a bit harsh and the THC seems a bit degraded (you can expect more couchlocking) but it's usually fine.

I've found that roach weed will send me to outer space. It's what i smoke when regular weed doesn't quite do it.

There's a practice of saving roaches in a jar and smoking them in joints, saving the second generation roaches in a separate jar, then doing the same thing with the third, fourth, fifth, etc. generation of roaches. A guy that used to post here asked his non roach-toking friends send to send them to him in letters, which they did for years. Last we heard he was up to about the seventh or eighth generation of 'em.

Thanks for replys guys  So if i am reading this right ? If i make a new joint i dont use a new roach ? I just put an old one in ? Sorry i really am clueless to this. When i have finished my joint theres bugger all left apart from the roach itself. So how is that going to help the new joint ? :rastasmoke:

if there isn't anything left then i see no reason to save it.
Since I have only medical grade top shelf herb I tend to leave some left in the roach. So I save enough of the roaches to roll one using just roach weed taken out of the papers.
Good stuff

If there is nothing left but paper I'd bin it.
