View Full Version : browning of upper leafs.

Hello attached is a pic of my upper leaf only the upper leafs are like this.
My 250w 8u cfl light is around 3-4" away could this be why? should i move it further away or could it be something else?

I don't know a lot about growing under fluorescents but I don't think it's the distance of the CFLs, people get those pretty close to their plants. Heat/Light stress tends to make the edges of the leaves curl upward.
Could it be fan burn? Air flow is good but sometimes plants get a bit pissy about having too much air (especially if it's hot hair) being blown too hard on them.

fill out the troubleshooting form. what kinda water you giving it? is it bottled?

jane's right, that doesn't look like heat stress.
she's also right that you need to fill out that form that she so kinkly supplied
a link to. that will help the experts diagnose the problem.
