Do you have a contactor? I had a couple timers go tits up on me and only then did I find out that I should have been running them through a contactor. (UK link (http://www.growell.co.uk/p/0736/Eco-Technics-Light-Switching-Timer-Contactors.html) but you'll get the idea)

I think your plants will be fine but you should sort yourself out with a contactor and a new timer.

hello can any one tell me ware the timmer gose do i plug it in to the balast then in into contactor or do i plug the contactor into the timer the contactor is got two plugs and two sockets do i plug the twoplugs into my power sourse then the baklast into one of the sockets its just that its the first time on using one im using one 600 w light.............can anyone help cheers
