I've been selected to participate in a bi-polar research study group;

This is great news for me, because I haven't been treated for being bi-polar since I was 16.

I didn't like the medications, they made me feel weird and I don't like the idea of all those chemicals in my body.

Anyways,

Its supposed to be a double blind study of a vitamin/natural supplement that treats bi-polar disorder. First they will give me either a placebo or the supplement, and then, after 8 weeks I receive the supplement.

I disclosed to the doctor that I was a mmj patient then the doctor informed me that in order for me to participate in the study group that I would need to quit smoking and that they would be collecting a blood and/or urine sample.

The study itself is something i'm really interested in and it could potentially be a long term solution for my bi-polar disorder.

Being bi-polar has so far affected my life, relationships, and jobs in a fair to moderate manner.

However, I suffer from anxiety and migraines. I haven't smoked all day so far and it's not been a fun day to say the very least.

Is there anything that can be done or bought so that I test clean?

I would remain clean for the study because of the possibility of drug interactions. And to find out whether the new drugs actually work.
