What medium? How big were the plants? How big are the pots? Be careful of stem rot-fungus.

Never start hydro plants in soil. The roots are different and may not make it. If so you are lucky and got them in before they were too big. It all sounds good except for the nutes. 20 20 20 ? What kind is that ? Is it for hydro ?

You need hydro nutes and just some reading. What kind of light do you have ? what kind of meters, fans or A/C. We can help you get over some of the stumbling block before you get there.

Hydro is great and faster and cleaner. Easy to take care of problems quicker. If you see you stuff yellowing dumb your water and get some R/o or distilled water and PH it down to 5.8 untill you get a mix together.

i have the test strips my ph is between 6.2 and 6.8,im using a general purpose hi-yeld brand fert20-20-20.i thought ive read here that many people have started in soil and switched to hydrodwc.someone even said that they have grown with a hydrotron layer on the bottom and soil on top correct me if im wrong.ive been reading almost everything on this site and others everday since june.its just my first attempt at hydro.im from a small town and the only place i can even purchase anything is kmart and walmart.i have 4 26watt cfls which did a great job on my last grow which is almost ready to harvest.
