is 18/6 ok for a few 2 1/2 week old babies? usin 2, 2ft, 20watt Agrosun Floresents. two plants are on there send and third row of leafs

well there are only 24 hours in a day and 18-7 is 25 but it could work iguess. The only thing the plant knows is what you tell it.

No need to bump up the fluoro wattage just yet. 18/6 worked well for me. Kept it like that the whole veg.

Alot of people say 24/0 is the fastest way and that is probably true, but all its ever done for me is cause trouble :mad:
Plants need dark to convert there sugars, neglecting them some dark time can stress em

Actually if you do have a dark period is what happens is the Kannabis plants uses up the stored energy it produces when the lights are on. 24/7 will allow them to continually produce energy for root and leaf development. Some say the roots only grow when the light is off. Not true, the roots grow in direct proportion to the leaf mass, more leaf mass needs more root mass to continue to grow new leaf mass.
