New to growing.

I'm about to start growing a few plants indoors. I have all the materials ready i just need to pick a spot to do it. I don't really want to grow very much at any given time, 3 at most. Trying to figure out how much space i will need to do this so i can start setting up.

Any help would be appreciated.

soil or hydro? how tall would you like your finished plants to be?

Well that's just the thing, i'm not really sure. I have limited space (width/length) but as for how tall the plants are going to get doesn't really matter.

I'd really like to grow them in a closet. It has a vent that would work perfect and some electrical outlets. The only problem is the closet is pretty small. Maybe 2' deep x 3' wide. How many plants/plant do you think i could fit in there?

you could do about 3 that get to ~4' tall. i don't like crowding plants together, but you could do up to 5, but well pruned.
