...with pink hair, yet:) These JotI beans are nice, very sturdy indica dominant plants with very, and I mean very low odor. Until you touch it, and you get the most delicious smell on your fingers...first time I got a good whiff, I immediately found the ol' lady, stuck my finger under her nose, and said "smell this"!
She didn't take it very well. Women should be more trusting about little things like that.;)

Currently, 6x54 watt T5's-3 of them 6500K, 3 of them 3000K. Also, I keep adding 42 watt 2700K CFLs, up to 6 now. Got a 400w HPS on the way though, want to see the ladies get all plump and swollen...
3 girls in a 2'x5'x7' area, one of them about 2 weeks behind on flowering because of a health problem (my fault), all fixed now:) They'll be re-vegged after harvest to take clones, hope to do things better next time;)
More pics later if I can get my cranky old camera to work. Or if I can assemble enough brain cells to actually figure out how it's supposed to work:stoned:

Few more pics, those are 5 gallon buckets, for a sense of scale. Sure show their indica heritage, no?
Edit
Forgot to mention that this is the first grow in over 20 years, and second one ever, so not doing so bad :)

Starting to see some purple now on the underside of the cola leaves :)
Going to be difficult to resist sampling some, since the stash jar is empty and I don't wanna buy any more. And it smells so damned good when you touch it :D

Only difficulty was over-watering, but that's not the plants fault. Otherwise quite easy, just feed and water and let it grow :)

I agree with you on the Lemon Skunk strain, I know my plants aren't picky at all so far. They have thrived in so-so conditions and given me quite a bit of growth for the little food they have been given.
What nutes are you using and are you following the directions exactly? It seems to me like this is one of those strains that give cannabis the "weed" title, growing anywhere in anything lol.

Foxfarm Grow Big and Big Bloom are all I've used, got their last hit of Grow Big a couple of days back, going straight BB until the last week, then plain water.
And no, didn't follow directions exactly, not very good at that kind o' thing ;)

Some get much bigger indeed. I consider these somewhat on the small side, truthfully. Outdoor plants have been known to reach 16-20 feet in height and almost as much across:eek:

do any get smaller or is there any way to make sure they don't get that big? i have 3 plants and i don't have enough room or light for them to get that big!

Do a search of the terms LST, FIM, topping, and supercropping, all of which will give you shorter, more spread out plants. Good luck:thumbsup:

Another little update, actually got a decent pic under HPS. Those are 42 watt CFLs, BTW. This plant is just greasy with resin...:D
And yeah, I surrendered to temptation, I cut a small nug that wasn't getting much light, drying now

The curl under only occurred on the one plant, and it seems healthy otherwise, so I'm not worried about it. Besides, all the big fan leaves are yellowing out, soon to be removed.
Oh, and those are 5 gallon buckets in the pics. After they are harvested and revegged, clones will go into 2 gallon hempy coco setups.
Did a lot of things wrong on these plants, but due to the kind folk here, learned a lot and will do better next time.:)

Yield...going to be less than I hoped, because the smallest plant started throwing herms. It's now been harvested and is drying. Sigh. I'll try to get some pics later of the 2 remaining ladies under normal light.

49 days now, in the home stretch:) Couple of slightly color-corrected shots, notice that plant one still has white hairs poking out of the top of the main cola, while plant 2 doesn't. Both plants have plenty of white hair action going on down below.
The gear from the removed plant is quite tasty for 6 weeks:jointsmile:, can't wait for the finished product. Think they're going to go 2 more weeks...

Well, after going to Ratshack and buying one of their 60-100x pocket microscopes, it looks like the ladies are a little closer than I thought. Trichs are showing about (WAG here) 10% clear, 80% cloudy, and 10% amber on the top colas of both plants. So, one more drink of clear water and then harvest the tops of both plants Wed., and let the bottom nugs go for another week or so.

Dude, I've gotten hold of some greenhouse fem lemon skunk seeds, will grow a few of them. Because of the height of the box, my plants should not go over 1 meter. Do you have any advice on how long I should keep them in vegetative state, or until what height so they don't go over 1m before I cut them down?
How high are your plants right now?
Thnx for the answer. :)
btw. I'm growing under 400hps light, in 11 liter containers (soil).

My strain of LS is from Jordan of the Islands, yours is Greenhouse, and DNA Genetics has one too...you may end up with a totally different plant than I did.
My plants didn't get over a meter, if that's any help. Vegged for 5 weeks. Flowered for 55 days, and are harvested and drying/curing now.;) Trying to re-veg them for clones, too.
If yours get too tall, you can always LST or supercrop them.
Good luck with your grow! Keep us posted, would love more info on the various Lemon Skunk strains.

one more question - how much yield do you expect per plant?
thnx.

That's one of those "it depends" questions:) So many things can influence yield. My yield won't be great, but that's ok, it was a learning experience, I'll do better next time.
FWIW, the seed vendor said that the plant could yield 2-6 oz. I think that's definitely possible, given good conditions and a long veg time.

Well, dry enough to go into the jars, thought I'd post a little bud pr0n ;) I did pop a bit into the vape, sweet lemony taste, nice initial whack behind the eyes...and about a minute late it really hit:stoned:
However, I noticed that the bud is a little loose, the strains only weakness that I can think of. I'd love to cross it to another low-odor strain with tight buds, thinking NL#5. I'm wide open to other suggestions...

Final report time I guess...
First off, the plants weren't grown in optimal conditions due to grower noobness. Aside from that...
Strain is very vigorous, very low odor, short, and relatively compact. So easy to grow, even a cavem...well, you get the idea.
Dried to a lovely strawberry-lemon aroma, but you need to have your nose right in it to smell it. Safe to take to a public place in your pocket. Nugs are not very dense, unfortunately. However, the trich coverage cannot be faulted:jointsmile: Really want to cross it to NL#5:D
It tastes wonderful in a vaporizer, but be warned, it does have a definite creeper effect, taking as much as 10 minutes to hit full potency. Once it does, you'll have a silly grin on your face for quite a while:stoned:
I have the stumps re-vegging, and one is just about ready to take clones. Weekend project: Bubble cloner!
That, I think, will be a full-on grow report for a bit later...
Forgot to mention, I don't get the munchies from this strain. Odd, huh?
