Hey all, well today is the day! I am quitting smoking cigarettes! But I actually have a question, and I thought I would post it here. If I am wearing the nicotine patch, will smoking MMJ mess anything up? Or will it be like smoking a bowl and a cigarette at the same time? Let me know any feedback! Thanks

I wasn't sure because I didn't know if the patch was different then a cigarette. Not worried so much about Nicotine, but if there is other stuff in the patch that would not go over well with smoking MMJ. Thanks for the input though :)

CONGRATULATIONS, man!!!!!! :woohoo:
Quitting such nasty and harmful habit is a very great deed! I hope you be ok with it, as nicotine is very addictive... anyway, good luck, and keep your decision until the end!
And whenever you wish to smoke something... smoke weed! Its the best smokable thing in this world! :rastasmoke:

Thanks for the kind words! It's funny I used to smoke cigs when I was toking so if somebody asked about the smoke I could be like "It's the cig" which had saved me a few times over the months lol. BUT now that I have a rec. I feel comfortable smoking in my backyard with no big deal. Couldn't have picked a better time to quit cigs then a few days after becoming legal! Yaaay! So I seem to be doing pretty good, only had one breakdown yesterday LOL.

nice decision! What worked for me is to REMIND MYSELF WHY i chose to quit whenever i wanted one. Also fill the space with something else. IF you always need to smoke after a drink, you may want to stop drinking as well. At least temporarily. It helped me a lot. You are courageous, stay that way!
