this is my very first grow, so be easy on me :). anyways i have a plant thats about maybe 6 or 7 inches tall with four nodes on it. i'm pretty sure its an indica strain. i've been growing in my closet for about a month now with one small, low intensity floro bulb (the kind you find on a simple table lamp or a ceiling fan lamp) if i were to force flower it now(if i even can) how much bud can i expect? how much can i expect with a plant thats about a foot tall and 6 or 7 nodes on it?

wow really? ok then. also, is it even possible to successfully grow a plant by using just a low watt floro bulb? i mean it seems to be working fine for now. i've got a small fan blowing gently on my plant, and i've got foil on the bottom and the sides of my grow space n so far my little plant was able to grow to almost about a foot. will it continue to grow this way well into flowering? or is there some kind of critical period where i have to switch lights?

got a pic up of my lil plant and my ghetto set up. the dying leaves at the bottom happened when i underwatered:( (for fear that i might over water it. kinda ironic, huh?) the top leaves seem to be doing just fine though, they're pretty healthy. anyways, judging by the kind of plant i have, what kind of yield should i expect? i dont expect much, but its my first grow and im doing it more for the experience than anything

haha wow, i didnt know any of that. thanks dutch. so should i stick with what im doing right now, or should i shell out the cash for something a little fancier? also, would now be a good time to start force flowering? or should i wait it out a little bit longer?

more good light = more good bud.

good bud costs money...how high do you want to get?

hey, I would give it another few weeks but you should definitely add some more light, check the ph of your water, and maybe repot before your flower.

During flower you definitely need ALOT more light, if you cant get yourself an HPS, get lots more fluos going on in there -- your plants will benefit from it and produce larger buds.

Your doing a pretty good job tho, just check that water ph, and dont forget about nutes.

good luck!

Hey there trojnmaaan,

I agree with Dutch and Xfactor and BluntWiz,get more light now,(a grow light, not a bulb from your ceiling fan),then transplant, give it a couple of days, and start flowering...
Take away the foil from the bottom as there's no need to reflect light to the sensitive undersides of the leaves...
Don't think about yield,(you have plenty of time for counting your chickens later,lol)...READ EVERYTHING ABOUT CANNABIS GROWIN' YOU CAN GET YOUR HANDS ON!!!:420thought:

i dont know about the foil ur using, u could easily cause hotspots with the way foil fold and creases ... if u have the money invest in something proper like mylar or lightning 97% reflects up to 97% of light back to the plant, is much easier to hang than mylar but cost effective in the long run... 75$ 200sqft. u can wipe it down without worrying about streaks... u cannot clean mylar u just have to replace it whihc is a bitch and it gets expensive in the longrun..

but

get that foil outta there... trust me u dont want itg there. it will eventually create problems that u could avoid if u just didnt have it.
