Shiny Leaves!

So I just moved all my vegging plants from the veg closet into the flower room but with the light on 24 hours to keep them in veg. The point of this was because they were very squished in the veg closet and I wanted them to have a chance to spread out and fill out for a week or two before I put them into flower. Since then the leaves have become shiny. I see no signs of deficiencies except for a little bit of red on the stems, the are in rapid healthy growth and have no stresses lately. This is my first healthy crop in a while so please refresh my memory. Do the shiny leaves mean that the plants are happy and healthy just the way they are, or am I not allowed to let my gaurd down yet?:jointsmile:

In my experience with citrus trees, shiny leaves are always an indicator of a problem. The shine is more than likely the result of bug excrement. Is the shine sort of sticky? If so I would look for signs of scale. Small brownish red spots that are attached to the leaves, almost always on the underside, but also on the stems. They tend to attack new growth viciously. If scale is the problem, they can be gently scrapped off the plants with your fingernail. I have yet to find a product that can totally kill them, I always remove them physically. Not sure if that is your problem, just offering my experience.

Nope no bugs or scales. It's not a sticky or thick shine, and it isn't super reflective either. It reminds me of my hair how before the leaves were dull and green, but now they have a touch of healthy looking shine to them, just enough to make them look like they glow a little.
