BBC NEWS | Europe | Rap earns Russian soldier 'exile' (http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/europe/7645252.stm)

Look at the disgraceful conditions that prisoners shouldn't have to live in let alone a nations military.

We don't need for them to have a happy military. The worse it is, the weaker they are.

Look at that faucet go!!!

Russian used to be a very mighty force when it was still in the Soviet Union, with a lot of unity and pride from the people...

However now it will never be mighty again...the nation is run by gangsters, the people (including soldiers) don't trust their government, a weak foundation after the collapse...with a lot of poverty...this isn't surprising one bit.

Russia may not be as powerful as they once were but they are still very very powerful it would be a mistake to under estimate them, the above quote could also apply to the UK and USA as well LOL

Sorry I posted too fast...the point I was making was that the country is not strong morally...the majority of citizens don't believe in their country at all...especially after the collapse of the soviet union...militarily it may be strong now...but without the people's trust and beliefs to back it up really it's like a bear with a broken paw...the point I'm making is that America is like ancient Athens in a way I guess...the people fight for their country because they believe in democracy and wish to preserve it...and that makes all the difference in the long run...
