I'm working with 2gallon pots and i have about an inch1/2 of perlite at the bottom of each of my pots. My plants are only 2 weeks into flowering but they are growing faster than i contemplated. I can see a few root strands floating in my undertray...is this a problem? theres no way it's rootbound alrdy

any feedback appreciated

sounds like they are rootbound if you have roots floating around in a tray! WTF?
:wtf:

I am really new too, but if you can see roots outside of your pot, you may need a bigger pot!:lol5:

2 Gallons? How tall are they? You are into flowering? Maybe some pictures would help. Good luck, lots of great minds here.:)

since we don't know anything about your methods of growing it's hard to say. with perlite in the bottom of pot the roots will fill that layer of perlite long b4 being rootbound. roots sitting is water is usually not good. When I transplant into 2 gal pots I'll see roots emerge from the bottom of the pots in a few days, then they'll give up and focus on their medium.
