Ok, so heres what ive got going..
i recently transplanted a plant i found growing in my flowerbed, and move it indoors..
the thing was already 10 or so inches tall.. pretty stretched..
It was growing in pretty hard, shitty dirt. Looked really healthy tho!
so i went to a home and garden center and picked up some good soil, blood meal, perlite, and EWC. mixed up the soil with some stones in the bottom for drainage.. thats pretty much it. didnt use any particular ratio for mixing soil.. just eye balled it, and didnt put too much EWC or blood meal in.. incase of being too intense for the plant. I dug the plant up, being careful not to dammage roots.. and put it in a pail of water to gently break the soil off.. too tough, so i just put the plant with the clump right in the new soil.. bad idea??..
I have 2-42W CFL lamps about 3 or 4 inches away from the plant.. put some tinfoil around it for some light efficiency.. (kind of a rushed deal, otherwise i would have used something a little better than tinfoil and tape.... hah)
The plant has grown some since being outside, which is reassuring! but i checked it out today and its not as perky as it was before.. looks alittle wilted.. Also looks like it hasnt grown at all today.
I have a fan gently oscillating by it as well.
Ive only watered it once since the transplant yesterday.. (mixed in a small amount of scott's all purp. grow fert in distilled water..) and put about a cup of water in the pot...
is it over/under watered?.. too close to the light?..
am i doing this right?
Its my first grow, alittle unprepared, bt hopefully i can make something happen!
any help would be huge!!
thanks!
