I'm starting this thread in hopes of helping myself and others. For spits and grin I decided this past thursday to start doing a complete trial run of dilution. For a little history about me I am a small person (5'3", 125 lbs), healthy eating, moderately active, not much regular exercising, 3-5 tokes a day. My last toke was around 9PM Thursday night. Do I really expect to test negative when this is through today??? No, not really. BUT...it's a starting ground to find out my body under normal circumstances if needed. If I still test positive today after dilution I will continue this thread daily until I do get a negative on a home test. Here we go...............

So....I'm working with about 38 hours since my last toke to start of dilution process. Since I'm so small I decided to try drinking 14 ozs at the start of dilution (10AM CST) and then 7ozs at a time instead of the recommended 8ozs. I should be back later with results. If I pass then I will give a detail outline of my intake and output of fluids.

OK.....it's about 2:15 CST and I just took one home test after voiding a total of 7 times and with 4 of them times being clear with a fat POSITIVE. Not even a hint of a line, which I kinda expected. I'm going to wait to void 2 more times and do one more test. If still positive (which I expect to be) I think I will try again tomorrow evening. Then I will have more hours clean and hopefully a diluted negative in my favor.

If you wish to monitor your creatinine and specific gravity while doing trial runs with your Dilution regimen, grab some validity test strips. They are available online and not at all expensive. Theyre essentially the same strips many labs use when testing urine samples for overdilution and/or substitution.
Do a search for drug adulteration test kits on google.com.

Just noting that I did a second home test after diluting and it came back a fat POSITIVE again. I think since I know I toked just Thursday I will wait until Monday evening before trying the diluting process again. I think I will have better luck Monday. Here's to those on the wagon. For those off the wagon, enjoy some for me. :rastasmoke:

One more thing.....I've started the dilution process again. I've done the water loading of 8ozs 6 times and now I waiting to go through the voiding and replendishing process. Also, since I knew I had ordered the strips I took creatine supplements. I hope I have been taking enough. The supplements I have taken are 7500mg each and I take 4 of them a day. Is that enough? Or should I increase them? Since I don't have my strips in yet I will be saving one of my last voids and place in the fridge so that I can use the strips on when they get here tomorrow or Wednesday. By what I have learned (and I think I have learned well) the sample should keep in the fridge for about 5 days.

EDIT: One thing I have learned is that if you start getting nausaus during dilution process, just mix up salty water and drink. Within 15-20 minutes you should start feeling better. :)

Just when you do use the validity strips, use a dropper instead of dipping the strip into the sample. Using a dropper eliminates the chance of cross-contamination (when the strip is withdrawn from the sample after dipping, color agents from the reagent pads can often "bleed off" onto the neighboring reagent pads, making for erroneous readings).
When using a dropper, draw enough sample to where you can drop thick beads onto each reagent pad (panel). Then after a few seconds, carefully tip the strip on its side to drain off the excess on a paper towel. Now the strip is ready for reading.

OK....an update. Did another dilution test run and a home drug test with another fat POSITIVE. It goes to show that even though some people may be small dilution isn't possible with only 4 days clean. I will be trying again Wednesday which will 6 days clean. I sure hope for different results because I'm sure missing the green.

Is there anyone out there who thinks I will have better results on Wednesday?? I did save a sample of today's last void to for testing of valitality when I get my strips. Correct me if I'm wrong, but a positive result for THC won't affect the valitality strips, right?

Right. A person can still test positive for THC while passing all of the validity checks.



Does anyone know if 4 pills of 7,500mg of creatine supplement a day (total of 30,000mg) is enough to NOT get a dilute on a test? The validity test strips would tell you the best (most accurate) story on that issue.

Be sure you dont go overboard on the creatine loading though - unless you like to spend long periods sitting on the crapper seat. :eek:

I made a MAJOR mistake on the number of milligrams I mentioned. I looked at bottle again and noticed the creatine pills were 1500mg each....NOT 7500mg. So, I've took a total of 9,000mg today. Can someone give me an idea how much you take when loading on creatine?

OK....just a short update. I'm hoping that I've been taking enough creatine. I decided to increase the pills (1.5 grams each) from 4 a day to 6 on Monday morning, 6 on Monday night and another 6 Tuesday morning since I'm doing the dilution thing Wednesday morning. I should have my vadility strips tomorrow. I will be able to test the sample from the other day that's in my fridge along with the sample I will have tomorrow to see where I stand with creataline levels and other factors that can lead to a sample being classified as a dlute. I'm planning on having a small breakfast in the morning then wait 30-45 minutes before I start the water loading. Anyone out there thinks I should do better with 6 days clean? I sure hope so cuz I'm sure missing the green. Wish me luck.

Well...after finding out that 6 days clean and not able to dilute and pass a home drug test I fell off the wagon when a friend stopped by with something to share. It was an eye opener for me to watch my smoking history. Instead of the EVERY day evening I was doing (about 1/2 gram), I'm cutting back. I want to get to the point where I have a standing chance to pass a test with dilution after about 6 days. Take it for granted I didn't load up on metimucil or exercise prior to testing, but I realize now that will change. I would had thought my small body would be able to pass with dilution after about 6 days clean. I can at least it didn't take me much tonight to feel relaxed when my friend stopped by.

On a better note I did get my validity strips in today. I tested both the sample from the other day and today and pass all validity with flying colors. At least I'm in the right direction with that part. I will probably be ending this thread, but would be open to hear others out. :jointsmile: ~~~~Live and Learn~~~
