Info on hookahs, pls

Hookahs. was wondering how well they were for marijuana, taste,burn,how they work. also if anyone know of a vaporizer hookah? the wife wants a hookah so more then one can hit it at a time, i want a vaporizer simply because of all the benefits they have.

ok i ofund out hookahs arent really any better then regular smokeing but they give a better tase, and more then one can hit it if they have the hoses. havent found a hooka or double hittin vapor yet.

I agree with weedman but it depends on the size of the hookah. I had a small hookah as in 6" with 2 hoses and the hoses got clogged. I also had a mediem size as in 12" to 14" and holes where u burn the herb were 2 big for ground up herb. there were 5-6 burn holes on the mediem sized one. the small one had 1 burn hole. what u would want is a mediem to large one with 2 or more hoses with 1 burn hole. Hookahs make smoking with a bunch of friends real chill. I would never use one when I was by my self, but sitting in the living room with everybody in the room with there own line too the pipe toking as they please while watching a flick, is pimp.

Hookahs are cool. a bit classy and old school way of smoking imo :D

I feel like a "Khan (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Khan_(title))" everytime i smoke out of one, especially if its the herb ;)

and since they are certainly not American in originality, it gives u a bit of exotic feelin to smoke out of... but firing them up and maintenance can be a bitch for those that are not used to it...

and if u wanna smoke along out of one, make sure u get a smaller head piece, otherwise u will have to fill up more herb in there to cover all the holes or resort to improvised methods (like aluminum foil n stuff) to help conserve your ganja..

but i pride myself in owning one, and it certainly is a very hip way to smoke with a crowd with these things

there are different types of hookahs:
Egyptian Hookahs
Syrian Hookahs
Bohemian Hookahs
Chinese Hookahs
Iranian Hookahs

the latter is my favorite for various reasons ;):D

hookahs are nice, though like everyone else said watch out for the holes to be to big. But my real advice is to get one that has a small enough chamber. My point is this, MJ smoke goes stale rather quickly, so if the chamber is large then the remaining smoke after a hit has been taken usually ends up being wasted. Seeing as there is no carb to clear the chamber with the smoke can just sit around and all the goodness of it will come out.

So in other words find one that has a small enough chamber to not matter too much if it gets wasted, overall, though i would not recommend hookahs for smoking mj alone. Maybe as another use for one that you may already have but not specifically for MJ.

I had a small hookah about 6" tall and the hoses got very clogged after just one day of smoking. so be careful,get too small a chamber and the hoses get clogged because where u connect the hose to the chamber the water gets splashed in the hoses when u inhale.:smokin:
