need some advice

will be going for an evalution and hopefully obtaining a card. I have documented headaches and have tried various medication. Most have provided minimal relief. I will be visiting a dispensary to purchase some smoke. I have not smoked for years due to my employment status and drug testing at the workplace. I have since retired. What strain would one try to help with headaches. How much can I expect to pay. Most lokely will be using no more than three times per week. Any help with making a selection is appreciated.

Not sure if this will help, but I found a site that shows most medical strains and what they tend to help with. It seems most indica and indica heavy hybrids are where it is at for a painkiller. Here are those sites!

Neither of those is the site I was looking for, but like I said, I think Indica heavy strains are more help with pain and Sativa seems more head highish. Hope it helps somewhat!

I have migraines from a childhood head trauma. I find indicas are best. I would ask for a "couch-lock indica". However, every one is a bit different, but for headaches and pain, indicas seem to be preferred by most folks. The clerk behind the counter will know which among their strains will have the best effect. They will likely have several for you to choose from, so just pick the one that smells GOOD to you. Trust yourself! :)

It depends on the quality of the strain. There are clubs that have low-grade all the way to high-grades. Some clubs sell shake for cheap. I've seen eighths range from $25-65, depending on quality.

I agree with Granny with very strong indica strains... like most purple strains. Or Kush strains. I recommend trying to find some concentrates like hash or kief - they can be very potent. Check out for Honey Bud, too.
