Hi.
My name's Jake Martinez (obviously).
I've actually been a loyal member since...I think '05. However, I only recently turned 18 so when the site went 18+ a year ago, I was banned.
Oh well.
To all of you I know from ages and ages ago, I hope life's treated you well.
To those I haven't yet met, I hope we can get along :)
Anyway, about myself.
I used to smoke for recreation only, but as I've gotten older the medical benefits of cannabis have become apparent.
For example, I am immune to opiates (or I may have such a naturally high tolerance that the dose required to numb me could kill me. My doctor said it wasn't worth finding out.) and tylenol, and allergic to every anti-inflammatory drug I've ever tried (aspirin, naproxin, the works).
When I'm in pain...
I'm in pain.
Even at the tender young age of 18, I'm getting very arthritic (bad genetics), but cannabis helps with the pain. I also have horrible stress headaches and migraines, and as a bonus "cherry on top", it helps me focus when I want to.
Unfortunately, I live in a very conservative state that doesn't even approve of the use of alcohol or tobacco.
So...hopefully one day I'll move somewhere I can reap the benefits of medical marijuana.
Long introduction, but those who knew me might remember my tendency to rant.
