How small are the small white hairs on a female? Are they supposed to be like a barely visible white fuzz on the bud etc?

depends on the strail and how close it is to finishing. I got some ultra haze that looks like orange bottle brushes.

Not clear on what you are asking.

Males do not get pistils, generally.

Though it is not uncommon for a female to stress out and become hermaphroditic.
(Prolly 'cause a girl "knows she has yet to be pollenated.)

A male won't know whether he's a poppa or not, so, no trigger to hermie

Now that I think about it, under good conditions, MJ favors females.
(generates more seeds)
In high wind condition we see more males.
(pollen blows away)
Natural selection at it's finest.:)
