Infraction/venting

I understand the rules.. I understand why I got the infraction, but I don't agree with it and feel it's BS.

It's obvious I was being trolled and condescended with the intent to get a rise out of me; which I shamefully admit worked.

I'll take this infraction and would even take a ban if required. This post is nothing more than to speak my mind about how I felt that thread went down. Granted I shouldn't have called him an idiot; but I also did not destroy the thread by sending it into a downward spiral by condescending just about everyone who posted in that thread.

So I apologize for the 'name calling' since it is against forum rules however I do not feel remorseful to the poster I referred the term to.

I know that poster will get an infraction as well; so that's not what this was about. What's sad is that I left that poster a positive rep explaining exactly why I was getting irritated; pointed out his trolling and he chose to continue.

Thanks for the moderating P4B.. the thread did need to be closed. I'm mostly pissed because the thread was going back into a discussion and someone came in to just turn it back into a heap of trash.

When people post garbage just report it and WE will take care of the matter. Being and "equal opportunity asshole" I gave out infractions, and a ban in that thread. I spelled it out in my final post there...nothing more to be said.

Another member through out the fishing line and unfortunately you bit. That same member is now on a vacation for doing the same as you but unfortunately for him he's had a record of this type of behavior on this site.

ONCE AGAIN....we can debate without insults to each other. Leave the insults to those that deserve it, our politicians.

That's unfortunate that people couldn't stay out of that thread. I figured the feedback forum was for mods and the site owner primarily.

In any case I say it's unfortunate because I had a genuine question for P4B. How long does the infraction stay on record before it drops off? or is it on there permanently?

And to those who thought I was arguing; re-read my post. I accepted the infraction, I understand why I got it.. however I don't agree with it and that's my right. I understand the need for it to be implemented against me and I never argued that against P4B. He's simply doing his job and I know this. There is no doubt in my mind that he is fair when moderating. As the last topic said, I was venting; thank you for the non mods who responded but I think P4B understood what I was trying to get across.

Let me know about the infraction thing P4B. Never had one before and not sure how this works.

Look in your User Control Panel, there will be a tab above reputation that says Latest Infractions Received. The info you need is there. :stoned:
