Damnit I said decaf. Heartburn is a b*tch, as is a restless night. Ill have to take one extra rip tonight to put myself to bed.

This will be the official thread for those who've been wronged on a decaf or DD to let it out.

Coffee???,I never touch the stuff, although friends say DD's make a good cup of joe...

Can't sleep-My favorite cures are WhiteRhino harvested at 10-11 weeks and cured properly or a cap full of Nyquil...

Heart Burn-An anti-acid or an ice cold glass of milk or cream...My favorite heart burn cures are-

White Russian-1 part milk or cream
1 part Kahlu'a
1 part vodka

Mud Slide-1 part Baileys Irish Cream
3/4 part vodka
1/2 part Kahlu'a or Creme de Cocao
(you can put this in a smoothie blender with lots of ice and cure the heart-burn of multiple patients)...:420thought:

Funny how different people react in such a varried way to the same substance. Personally, I can drink a cup of coffee at night and go to bed right after.

yeah me too, caffeine has like zero effect on me, sometimes i think its a reverse affect because it will make me sleepy.

You shouldn't drink decaf though, they did a study and proved that decaf causes an !8% rise in fatty acids which can form bad types of cholesterol and can cause heart risks.

I work in a coffee shop and we brew 100% organic fair-trade coffee. Thats what you need to be drinking, it's amazing!

I worked at an upscale coffee joint for a year. I have tasted some of the finest brews this world has to offer. I have bagged coffee at $40 a pound. I have dealt with some of the biggest, elitest scum ever brought into this world.

And it STILL tastes like fucking shit to me.

Yeah, who wants that Starbuck-like crowd anyway? Hahaha.

"Look at me, I'm so fucing trendy and hip, coolness just radiates off my body"

These are the same assholes in Che t-shirts with their Ipods listenng to Coldplay and wearing scarves in 75 degree weather.

damn scenesters, ruining fine coffee establishments! We only have a few customers like that at our shop, but we mainly get the rich business men and their soccer mom/wives. They all expect us to know exactly what they want and they love to rub the fact that their wealthy into the faces of anyone who will listen. Those customers really really really piss me off, but the rest of the people that come in are pretty cool and not too snobby.

I did work at a starbucks for about a year and thats where all the trendy kids went, you'd think that they would stop frequenting such a place after realizing the reputation they have, but they still love to hang out there hoping that someone will notice the fact that they have earbuds in, or a t-shirt with some catchy phrase/trendy band on it. I just ignore them unless they actually need something, then i'll help them and maybe have some small talk but the conversations usually turn into the same pointless dribble of which bands they think sold out or how awesome their brand new mac book air is. Oh well, it comes with the territory i guess.

/end rant

Lol. Well I got a little heartburn and jittery yeah, and I don't like to smoke and drink caffeine. I dont like to smoke and take anything else. I kinda get lower back pain when I drink caffeine as well.
I guess decaf is bad for you yeah. Well especially when you go XX and throw all the garbage in there, but I like my sweet fix every so often.

caffeine and weed are no good a mix for me.... not at all!!
especially if im stressed out, my heart will revolt against me if i take both at the same time, i can hardly cope with having a glass of coke when im high, thats the safe limit or i will have issues for a few hours :P

I really wish coke zero would come up with a decaf version.

and as for DD, last time i visited this store, was like 2 years ago lol. thats not a good store for me... not until i get back into my desired shape and generally thats like one of the unhealthiest choices around. i rather have some fatty stuffed crust pizza:D

I'm guilty of being a caffeine junkie.

Only it's diet mountain dew/dr. pepper/whatever instead of coffee.

its strange i dont even drink coffee and i get heartburn. My dad used to make pots that were so strong that when i woke up in the morning, i could be up for a few hours, and walk past a fresh pot, and get a slight bit of heartburn. and as for the both of them, i dont drink either, ever, i have tried both and found them to not be my taste.

yeah me too, caffeine has like zero effect on me, sometimes i think its a reverse affect because it will make me sleepy.

It also happens with me... soon after i finish a cup of coffee, i feel sleepy... but some time afterwards (some 2-3 hours) the caffeine kicks in, and as i hardly drink any caffeinated things (coffee, coke, etc) i got like the Duracells bunny... not fun... thats why i only drink such things when i really need an energy boost.

its interesting that so many of you have heartburn troubles because I've always had a bad problem with heartburn and acid reflux, but coffee is something that has never really bothered me. I mean, if i don't eat anything, there's a little burn going on since all i have in my stomach is coffee but normally cofee doesn't bother me at all.
