Freaking out. I need advice on the timing of things

Hi,

I am interviewing for some jobs and one I really want will require a piss test. My first interview is tomorrow. I am not sure if there will be a second or third. I just known on the application it stated that upon acceptance of a job offer you must submit to a urinalysis within 72 hours.

Here's my deal: I am 6' 200# skinny build with a fast metabolism for a late 30s male. I am am skinny, not fat.

I smoked some over the summer and stopped Aug 2 for a month. Then in the last 3 weeks I smoked lightly 3 times (We're talking a few bowl hits or a coupld b-hits a sitting). The last time was this past Sunday the 14th (few bowl hits). And before that the 5th (couple of b's) and one time in between 8a couple of b's).

I know I can stall the guy all next week. If all goes well I may have a 2nd interview next week, or they could offer me the job. But I can stall them by telling them up front I am not available next week if need be. That puts me at the week of the 29th (15 days since last bowl hit). Then if they offer me the job, I can ask a few days to consider the offer. If I take it, I have a few days to take the test. So basically, on this timeline I'd take the test close to 20-21 days after the last smoke.

I plan to hit the treadmill everyday over the next few weeks for 30-40 minutes to get the aerobic exercises going.

I also have some of the NeverFail masking drink. A buddy used it on parole and never failed, even after testing 24 hours after smoking. But I know some people say this is BS. Substitution is out. Dilution is a possiblity....but I am afraid of failing due to dilution.

What do you guys think. With my physical characteristics, lighter smoking and 2-3 weeks....what to do? I am getting an ulcer over here.

Worst case is I can pass on the job and keep looking. I just have to plan accordingly in case all goes well tomorrow.

Dilution is a possiblity....but I am afraid of failing due to dilution. Then you should be afraid of failing with the so-called NeverFail magic potion as well. Magic potions are nothing more than an overpriced Dilution recipe-in-a-bottle (when they do work). They "mask" by diluting your bladder so the urine sample registers below the screens cutoff thresholds. The same exact thing can be accomplished in N2's Dilution recipe (for many $$$ less).

I thought the NeverFail inhibited the release of the THC metabolite, not just acting like a dilution????

Do you think with my size, weight etc and 3 times smoking in the last month that giving myself close to 21 days will work? Shit, I know I could theoretically be clean in two weeks. But I am paranoid.

Nothing but a pure sales pitch designed only to separate the credulous from their cash. Dont fall for it.

Cannabis users are victimized enough in this nonsensical "war on drugs" without being further exploited by these potion-peddling vultures who are only in it for the money.

Take a home THC test so you can see where you actually stand. A home THC test would tell a more realistic and accurate story than anybodys guesswork.

When taking a home test, be sure to use the first urination of the day.

Makes sense. I ordered 10 test kits online. Maybe I'll go ahead and test this NeverFail and see what happens. As well the dilution method. test in on the 1 week mark.

I am hoping if worse case I test 2 weeks out, best case 3, with my light using and metabolism the dilution method will put me over the top.

One question, with the dilution method -- with the creatine, B2, aspirin etc -- does that help defeat the 'failed because of dilution" quandary?

Of the three youve listed, only creatine loading can help prevent a "too-dilute" ruling, due to low creatinine levels as a result of large water consumption

B2 helps restore color to the urine. But it must be understood that urine samples can undergo a validity check automaticly without a preliminary visual check. And urine samples with color to them can still fall below the acceptable limits for creatinine and specific gravity.

Using aspirin is old tech. Back in the day, it was used to interfere with only one kind of test - the first generation EMIT. As a result, a second-gen EMIT was since manufactured to tackle the aspirin issue. The first-gen EMIT is seldom used by the labs anymore (if at all).

I had the interview and it looks like it may be 2 weeks until I hear something. Then, after that it would be another 2 week minimum (up to several more weeks past that) before I'd be in the window of a test. So that would put me over 5 weeks off from the last puff, and I am a light smoker. So, I think I may be OK just pissing as is. I have test strips and will be checking once a week, first piss of the morning, to see how I clean up. If I keep coming up clean after the 4 week mark I will not worry about it. Otherwise I will do the dilution as described in the sticky.
