Easier to turn your plants hermie by light stress... and cheaper. Same effect, less hassle... During week 3 of flower, mess with the light schedule to make it totally random for several days before reverting to 12/12. You will have all the nutsax you need...

Gibberellic acid is dangerous. That's why it can be hard to find.
I used to play with it in the '60s.
We also baked seeds with a dental X-ray machine. :)
It's not as usefull as it was when all you could get was bagseed.
Now that we can purchase polyploid strains with cool names.
There is little need to try turning hemp into gold with random DNA damage.
And even IF it does feminize seed, there are safer rumors to pursue.
(Aspirin fer instance).
If ya just gotta fool around with it, please be extremely carefull.
Wear gloves, wash up, etc.
Remember what Mr. Nicklesworth always says. "Play safe"!
Good luck,

Without proof, that is not necessarily an accrate statement. It's used on fruit and veggies worldwide, and has never been shown to be hazardous. However, no testing has been done when smoking GA, either. The Dutch have used this shit for many years for femmed seeds, but I'm not sure they smoke the donor plants. (GA elevates the plant hormone levels)
Regardless, since the uproar whenever GA is mentioned...I'd go with stinky's suggestion. Especially if a newbie without the experience to properly use the stuff.
If a chemical stress is something you'd still prefer...uncoated aspirin (salicylic acid) works just as good, and is much cheaper than GA, too. One aspirin per quart of ph'd water...two or three waterings in a row. (per your normal watering schedule) Nanners usually take a week to 10 days to form. Re-using the soil after adding the aspirin, is not recommended. (never tried foliar, so no recommendation there)
If still insistent, and you don't believe the (cannabis-specific) fear and paranoia surrounding the stuff, MegaGro makes and markets it. (Growth Stimulator) Mark with a twist-tie, and spray on a daily basis for a few days. (a new batch each time...doesn't keep well once mixed) Don't over-do it...or she can/will die. Start looking for nanners in a week or so. Harvest the pollen and destroy the lady, as she will pollinate everything in the flower room. Harvested pollen can then be used to pollinate other ladies, and the results will be female seeds.
Likely, if you are a newbie...it's best to try everything else first, before attempting the industrial-strength hormones.
As Weezard said...use with caution.
