Volcano Questions II

Ive had my volcano for about two weeks now, and I have a couple quick questions after using it.

-How many bags should I be getting out of one bowl pack, if im filling the bowl enough to not see any more screen?

-Secondly, ive been vaping between 5-6.5, and ive been getting two great bags, two moderate bags, and then two bags with little to no vapor. Is it correct that I turn the temperature down as the weed is more vaped?

Besides those two questions everything else is excellent, 100% worth the money in my book. Thanks for the help!

- I get 3-4 bags from a bowl.

- I do opposite. I start at 5.5 and work my way up to 7.5.

I start at 6 and work up to 7.5. Probably get 5 bags from a bowl. A bowl consists of about a teaspoonfull of ground herb (give or take).

Then make some butter with the duff, or cook it again at 10!

I do all my vapin at 340-350F..... or 5 on the dial turn it up to 6 after 2 bags

Here is the BEST way I have found to utilize the most bud THC using my digital Volcano....

First of all, usually I CAN average 4-5 bags depending on amount used, quality, and temp..HOWEVER I chose to instead only vape each filled chamber TWICE. I do this because 1-Usually by the end of my 2nd bag, i'm high enough. 2-It leaves enough THC left to put in my 1 big master bag of 2x vaped buds which u can either cook with or re-vape. I love to revape my 2x vaped stash when im out of my usual stash cause its a mix of different strains from over time and I still get 2-3 bags out of 1 chamber and THEN reuse the bud in cooking only because by that point most THC has been vaped. I hope this made sense, just what I do...I 've saved so much $$$ since getting my Volcano best tokin investment I ever made. So this way u get 3 times the use unless u need more to get high or with lots of people. My method is 4 when its just me. :rasta:

Temps for Volcanos Digit I use...
2 bag & stash recycle method 371 first bag then 379 second bag.

3-5 bags 369 , 374 , 380, 385 , 390

To sum up my method for most use out of bud for 1 person w/ Volcano:

1. Vape bag 1 however you like.

2. Vape bag 2 at a slighly increaed temp (+ 3-7 degrees)

At this point I'm usually plenty high, keep in mind this is for ONE person.

3. Dump remaining vaped contents into your favorite stash holder, I prefer a glass jar or baggie OR baggie IN glass jar for better storage.

4. When all out of buds and seeking to get high, simply grind some of your vaped stash from step #3 (and if you're like most vapers I know, you will have a nice MIXTURE of buds from over time) in the Storz and Bickel grinder (or w/e grindr you use to make it fine like powder, S&B works best 4 me for this, otherwise use grinder with keef catcher to make hash at later date ) and revape at the SAME temp that you usually vape in step#2.

5. Finally make sure your 2nd or 3rd bags of pre-vaped goods are at slightly increased temps for best results.

This method has saved me $$$$ and saved me in times of bud droughts. Let me know if any of you try this method, have suggestions, or want to share their own Volcano full utilization of plant/bud story.

I like your idea man...a lot of people forget that they don't need to keep filling bag after bag per chamber. 2 bags like u said is def enough for just me at a time unless its some really shitty budz. The only thing I do different is that I use a coffee grinder to grind all my trees before they go in my volcano and lets the keef to build up over time. Once im out of buds and need to get blazed, go to my massive vaped buds bag, grind some up, put it in the filling chamber, and top it off with a nice amount of keef to freshen and spice it up. It tastes almost identical to as if it was completely fresh grinded buds and gets you sooooo high =) hope that helps

I just want to bump this to provide an update on how my Volcano conservation is going.

I still use pretty much the same method. I could never possibly do so much with smoking. Sure you could grind, smoke, get high, and collect kif from over time to make hash. With the cano, that extra step of either re-grinding to get high all over again and/or making vapoo cannabutter.

Here are some things I do a little different these days with a step by step to help others. I know a few people who when they first used their cano, didn't even know to save their vaped goods.

1. Grind buds in coffee grinder, pref one with a round top. Get a cheap short bristle brush too. Don't grind for more than 2-3 seconds because we're trying to grind it but not fine like powder, that's later.
2. Vape your coffee grinded buds at a lower temp, anywhere 350-372, only 1-3 bags, remember this is for 1 person. There is a reason which comes later.
3. Dump vaped buds into your fav stash area.
4. Brush leftover kif in grinder into a kif press, also called a pollen press. I would then suggest sticking the press with kif in the freezer for at least 30 min to get your kif nice n pressed/hard.
5. Now you have some options . If you want decently strong cannabutter then stop here and make your cannabutter with the vaped goods, ground down finer of course. The alternative is saving your stash to get high when you are low/out.
Get high all over with what might as well be called fresh buds, your vaped bud stash. Grind in your S&B grinder this time to really make it fine. Dump into filling chamber. If you want to kick it some more punch, slowly push your hard hash/kif out of the press so just the top is barely out and use your brush to coat the chamber with trichromed goodness. The temps should be slightly higher to get any remaining THC. I usually start this first bag on my sweet spot of 370 and go up about 5 degrees on the remaining 2-3. Usually get 3-5 total bags, even without the kif on top.

So we took our original bud and used it 4 ways...high, hash, high, cannabutter :thumbsup:

FourTwenty4Life, using my already vaped bud, I cut it up some more and then using the same temp you use in Step #2 which is Vaping the bag at a slightly increased temp (374*F)... if one bag doesn't get you high do you do another bag at that same temp 374*F or do you increase it a bit 5-7 more to say 380*F and take your 2nd hit from that temp?
