yeah i know.... bad idea hay?
someone told us too..... they said that it helps the sun reach the bud, and also the plant will concentrate on the flowering not the leaves, but thenwe read a couple of days ago that we shouldnt of done that as it decrease the yield, im unsure, where very new to this, this is our first plant and the only one that has survived, lol.
thanks for ya advice, glad someone can help!
had alot of bad advice, of people that think they know what there doin when they actually done, haha.
atleast well kno for next time, also it doesnt look like we will get much does it? over the next 2 weeks, will the buds get bigger? or do u think they wont grow much now?
in places it looks like its going moldy, (done) do we need to chop them bits off and leave the rest to mature? its the top buds that look like there maturer than the rest.
cheers for ya help,

i suggest a swift smack to whomever suggested you remove all those leaves.
The buds look like they could grow a bit more. It is too hard to see the Trichs (crystals) in the photos, but if they are turning cloudy-Amber you are getting close!
Enjoy and then do it again!

How many weeks since she first showed flowers/sex?
I'm guessing that you won't get much of a harvest off her. She's flowering, probably stressed due to the extreme make over your buddy told you to give her. If you dont have any plants go ahead and finish her up, otherwise I would say scrap it and start over.

its been around 4weeks since she started flowering, we do have another one thats around a month old and we are thinkin of just leaving it to do its own thing, (no pruning etc....)
is this best? maybe cut the big fan leaves? or leave them to?
any advice is much appreciated, its been great fun gardening, but dissapointing how people say they kno these things when they dont, grrrr......
i too dont think theyl be much of a harvest, im worried if i harvest her that she might not be ready, and also how long do u leave the plant to dry out? and where? dark? light? cold? warm? etc.......
cheers all, x

Leave the poor plants alone. Don't cut anything more off of them. Your plant uses the leaves as food/nutrition to be able to build up your bud sites. You effectively cut off a vast portion of it's food source by chopping it up like that.
You have 4-6 weeks left. I may even say as much as 8 weeks. Poor plant is probably so stressed it needs a few extra weeks to figure out WTF happened to it.

No one can actually tell you how much you'll yield.. but if I'm just going off that picture...
I'll say you'll be lucky if you get even an ounce. I anticipate you getting under 1 oz.
Good luck.

How tall is the plant? and how tall is the green house.. is the plant on the floor or is it lifted up.
I said less than an oz under the assumption that the plant actually wasn't that big/tall. It really won't make a difference in your end yield but I may have lowballed it a little.
For now I'll stick with what I said before, under 1 oz Dry weight.

its not lifted of the ground and its around 5ft tall, and the greenhouse is around 8ft tall.
so u say leave it a little longer, maybe over a month?
cheers 4 ya help!

I was wanting to get a reference of size of your current buds to try to determine what you might yield.
I'm still going to stick with 1 oz dry weight.
The problem is that your plant is so stressed she'll probably start making nanners and self pollinate. If you do yield more than 1oz most of that weight will probably be seed weight (assuming your plant hermies.. which I have no doubt that it will).
Also your plant has no food or places to store food (leaves). This is a pretty cruddy situation to be in if you're trying to grow buds.
When in doubt leave the plant alone; it does fine in nature on it's own. Sometimes people get a little over zealous with "helping" the plant along.
I say 4-6 more weeks until it's done; or to be honest it may be so stresed out that it might not ever truely finish.
Harvest when most of your trichs are cloudy or just starting to turn amber.
Better luck next time :hippy:
