Some questions about method

Sorry to add another thread, but I have an odd testing situation in which I think my company may just be bluffing about the tests.

My company works with a hospital, so they say they use the hospital for urinalysis.

Basically one day, around 3:00pm, I get randomly tested, I hadn't smoke in a about a month or so, so I was clean, but they way they went about it was weird. They first asked me if I had used, I said no, they said if I admit to use the ramifications would be less(a kind canning?).

So they give a me a cup tell me to fill in the bathroom, so I go in, I am free to myself, no one watching I fill it up. I hand it to the guy, he sticks the sample in the frig(no temp test I guess?) and says they will send it to hospital the next day. They never bother to tell me the results.

My question is, will a hospital use a method where synthetic urine will not work, and I guess temperature doesn't matter? These are my main concerns because everyone stresses temperature, but in my case I don't think it will matter. Likewise I don't know if I am getting a more advanced test where the synthetic urine will be evident to the testers.

He just stuck an open sample cup in the fridge or did he pour it into snap top plastic vial(s) and give you forms and seal the vial(s) with a piece of paper with your name on it? Was there no temp strip on the donor cup?

A hospital may do its testing in house instead of sending it to a lab but the process and regulations are the same if you went to a collection center. Immunoassay follwed by GC/MS for confirmation along with validity testing.

As far as the ramifications go, some companies offer rehab for first time offenses as part of a health care plan. Rehab is for quiiters though.

It was basically the cup you urinate into for a standard physical, had a sticker to kinda seal the lid, definitely no strip inside the donor cup. He then stuck that in the fridge, with my name on it and sent me on my way.

From what you say, regardless of what is done, whether the hospital does at site or sends it off, synthetic urine will pass?

Sounds like they must just send it to the hospital for testing. SYnthetic urine will pass the test no problem. One of the main uses for synthetic urine is for insurance medical tests. They want to test it for evereything to find out isf they should insure you. NEVER use your own urine for insurance tests.

I think it will pass they say it is used to calibrated drug testing machines . . . i dont know how quickly it will degrade though cuz isnt it supposed to be used in a certain ammount of time?
