Note by poster: I believe this bill and the next one are both extremely important and pivotal bills, as the BILL OF RIGHTS CLEARLY STATES IN THE 10TH AMENDMENT THAT ANY MATTER NOT SPECIFICALLY COVERED IN THE CONSTITUTION IS LEFT FOR THE STATE TO DECIDE, AND THE ILLEGALIZATION OF MARIJUANA BY THE US FEDERAL GOVERNMENT IS IN CLEAR VIOLATION OF THIS, and these bills are a big step in the right direction to resolve that terrible error.

ben 350, I read your post in Sap's thread about asking how that plant grew so I thought I'd respond back in your thread so I wasn't threadjacking SAP

the first thing I do is tie down the top of the plant, it will keep standing back up but tie it down again along the top of the pot.. then the side and bottom shoots will grow quick, and they all think they are tops so tie all of those tops down as well leaving a lot of empty space in the middle then new shoots will grow out of the middle. start flowering and you can have a miniature christmas tree lot of your own

wow that looks super awesome! could you theoretically do that and put it through a screen at the same time? screens look appealing to me, but that xmas tree lot is crazy! edit: also is that just one plant? or multiple? i gotta know, its way too extreme! :jointsmile:

Ben, I think it's just one plant. Mine look like that only larger.

4D, I think you need to veg a bit more! An extra week or two in veg make a big difference at harvest! My plants look like that, only larger! They usually cover most of the 18 x 24 tubs (19 gallons) I grow in. I use bamboo skewers with twist ties and also some rusty bolts and nuts (salvaged from the hubby's collection) hung like Xmas ornaments, to hold things down. Looks awful, but works great! ;)

I usually top the plants, as well as LST them. This totally cuts off the chemical that the tip makes to slow down side shoots. Just staking it lower than the rest of the plant also works, if you don't like topping. If I'm working with seedlings, I let the part I'm going to clip get big enough to make a sexing clone. Clones, I snip as soon as they have 4 sets of leaves- giving me 8 branches that all want to be "top bud".
