View Full Version : Fluorescent Reflectors- Baffles,,,anyone heard if em/used em,,,do they work???!

Hey guys ive been doing some reading on fluoro reflectors, n i came across something intresting,,,baffles, supposibly they;re suppose to direct the light downward towards the plants....anyone heard of them or used them,,,if so do they work???

below the picture it writes:
Reflectors without baffles are very inefficient so light is lost. Baffles direct the light downward.

Yes,they reflect the light down...I have a small HydroFarm reflector that looks just like the one you have in your post...It takes a 125watt CFL or a 200watt CFL...
It works much better than using no reflector at all...:420thought:

actually im thinking of using these on fluoro tubes...does that change anything?
