Seeds.....Anyone?

You guys have probly seen my other posts on this web sight and I just wanted to let you guys know I still have plenty of seeds to trade or sell. I will trade for any strains as long as there not bullshit or premature. I prefer to trade because the hole point of this is that Im trying to gather as many strains as possible for this growing season. I think it would be rad to grow like 50 strains in one season. The strains I have are listed below:

i've got 5 papaya and 2 shivas about 2 weeks old under my flouros. also ready to start 12/12 on 2 early mistys. my neighbor has done 12/12 for 1 week and no real sign of sex, how long does this typically take? we have several strians between us and i have to report that the early bud is the biggest, baddest, heartiest plants of the whole lot, also, papayas are young but really taking off. i was looking at our 2 skunk clones we took from a mother plant last fall and i noticed the stalk is getting all brown and dead looking....any suggestions? i'm worried they might not make it till spring. b.t.w., i took these 2 clones the day before we harvested the mother, there were actually buds on the clones. they are about 2 feet tall now, but have had a hard time keeping them going lately.

I have hade plants show sex in the first week under 12/12 but some strains take longer than others. I had 5-G13 X Thi plants and all took about a month to start showing sex and they finished about 6 weeks longer than the other strains I was growing at the time. On the two Skunk clones, if the brown is on the lower part of the stalk it may be growing its bark. Plants will grow a bark like membrain on the outside of the lower stalk to suport and protect the heavy plant in its later years. I had a outdoor White Widdow plant last season that grew 8 feet in 3 months and every inch of the stalk besides the top 16 inches had a thick layer of bark to protect it. If the plants seem to be slowing down, you may want to check the P.H. of the soil or mak sure you have enough light. Hope this helps and if you have anymore Q's just post it. Peace.

Thank you, mattakasqueaks for the info, as this sounds exactly like what is happening to the clones, puts my mind at ease as i thought they might die. will check the ph balance also. i wish i had the knowledge you and other folks display here, lol. but i'm learning. i've been growing outdoors for a long time but with no knowledge or sophistication. very cool! does anyone have experience growing papaya? early finish, etc.? the smoke is supposed to be good. also germed 20 ak48's. of course after i ordered them i read a bunch of bad stuff about ak48, inferior strain and such. so my plan is to germ these and take the very stoutest, heartiest plant and put her in full sun. sexing the early bud, leda uno and early misty...the neighbor bought some bloom, figures that might help hasten the process. regards

no ex. in the papaya strains. dont keep only the tallest plants because males tend to grow a little bit taller tha females so you will want to keep a little of both short and tall to make sure you get a few females. bloom solutions wont make the plants show their sex quicker, its just used to make the flowers mature faster so the plant can produce as many flowers as poss. befor harvest. hope this helps and if you have any more Q's just post it. appreciate that info, mattaka. especially that diff. strains take diff. times to show sex. and good news, today the neighbor called me over and sure enough, after approx. 10 days of 12/12, plants are starting to show sex, 4 boys from 10 leda unos so far. 2 boys from 10 early buds and the early mistys aren't showing anything yet. neighbor thinks cut the main stalks of the females down to shorten them? man, that early misty has a deep skunky smell. Delta-i hear you....the papaya designation is somewhat confusing to me, i think it is mango or variation of. i've seen pics and the buds look white and i believe it is called a white strain. mattaka where do you start cloning ur plants after you sex them? your advice is appreciated big time :)

I usually clone the plants about two weeks befor I sex them to make sure the clones root and mark the plants 1-10 or how ever may plants you have and mark the clone after the plant it came off of. Then when the plant shows sex, take out the male plants and male clones. Then you will only have females and you can take any clone from any plant. Hope this helps. Peace
