Hard to find pure sativa?

I think I have had a pure sativa before, the high was incredibly clear-headed and didn't have the sometimes annoying body effects.

But around here (Rural WV) all I can get is what I think is an Indica/Sativa hybrid. I don't think I've ever had pure indica, because you get a mellow body high (from what I've heard).

So is it hard for you guys to find a pure sativa/indica?

How can I tell if it's pure sativa, besides smoking it?

I have trouble finding a pure sativa, as well! Good luck and I'm across the nation! Guess there isn't enough $ in it. If they have it, you get there and they "had some" Not easy to get. I need a combination and during the day a pure sativa would help a lot more! I understand what you mean! :jointsmile: pr

It's nearly impossible to tell without smoking it unless you can associate the smells and the looks/leaf size. Usually indicas have broader "palm" leafs while sativas have narrower "finger" leafs.

Again, it's almost impossible to tell without smoking it.

Most of today's sativas are hybrids strictly because it allows shorter flowering cycles and increase the usually small sativa yield.

yep, nearly impossible to find pure sativas. most are hybridized. Growers who have their hands on strong, pure sativas grow them for themselves. Hybrids are a much more reasonable cash crop.

Kali Mist is supposedly 90% sativa. Then you have some hazes. I am no expert though.

i got original haze here in MA a few weeks ago, but at $20/g (shits expensive here, not too many growers) thats my biggest concern, not the availability.

I agree...thanks for reminding me. I was looking for one like this too....

I knew a guy who grew this stuff ,and it was some of the best tasting weed.

So is Power Plant. Both that and Durban are South African strains that are appropriate for indoor growth. I've smoked both; Durban puts me on my ass, and Power Plant is a really nice yielder and tastes good too.
