Ok, I'm not sure on how many fingers should be on your typical fan leave. I'm assuming 5 to 9 would be average.
I found a fan leaf with 13 fingers on it. Yup, 13. Now, I think that is pretty amazing.
Has anyone seen larger? If so, how many? Anyone want to see a picture?

I've seen 11-finger leaves before, but I don't think I've ever seen a 13.
Mostly 9's on the plants I've grown.
I'd love to see pics of that 13er!

That's pretty cool. Do you know what strain that plant is?

It apparently came from Trinity County, dubbed "T.C. Bud" by the person who gave me the seeds. He picked them up from our buddy's uncle who grows out there.
That's all I got, they look nice though just starting week 4 in the pics.

AARGH Apollo13 is already a strain of herb derived from the genetic line of the Cinderella. What's with people just slapping whatever name on stuff...grrr
Looks healthy, but it needs a bigger pot.

I'm just curious, and your right, how could you determine that just by the picture? The needing of a bigger pot that is.

Yeah that tip got too close to the light.
How much would transplanting help me now? Just started week 4 of budding, is it too late or too dangerous?

General cupped-over appearance of the older fan leaves indicates rootbound. Not just tips, but also edges. If it looks like an upside-down canoe, repot. If it looks like a rightside-up canoe, raise your lights.
Edit: Nah, it's neither too late nor too dangerous. Let the root ball dry out rather well first so it doesn't break apart during the repot under its own weight.

Yeah they are beautifull. I have a 13 and a 15 fingered leaf on one plant that produces many of these leaves. I think it depends on the color of your light. Lots of red in veg stage makes more fingers. Lots of blue more branches. That's all from testing not from a book. But the more fingers the better the health. Keep it on. I got stoned for my first time at 13.
