Malayalam kayar and dripping LEDs !

This forum must be the best place to temper anticipation, so here goes!

There's a plan that roughly goes: Coir, Drip, LED, Scrog, Tent.
Standard enough plan, but it's the first time it's mine... so, of course I'm excited. :dance:

While I'm waiting, I'd like to ask for experience/thoughts about parts of the plan.

First, the Coco: Botanicare's CocoGro Coir 6" blocks

Reasons:
I like blocks but wanted coco over rockwool.
A good story about pH/salt and particle control.

Anyone used these or other cocogro and want to share experiences?

that coco is fairly nice, I thought it was really fine texture wise, and now use a chunkier type. just make sure you wash it well even if it says pre-washed. and provide calmag every watering that you are not giving it nutes (if nutes are onepart)

maybe do a led/cfl combo

and the drip sounds nice but not necessary if you can tend to them 5 min a day. i have my babies in a tray, and i fill the tray up like an inch and let them wick it up when I'm gone

What type of LEDs are you using? Got any pics of the set up? Have you started the grow yet, or is this grow log plans? Which strain?
