Finally found what I'm going to use, it's about 2ft. wide x 1ft. deep x 3ft. tall. I'd like to have at least 2, maybe 3 plants, is this enough room? How much light could I comfortably run in that space without needing some balls out ventilation? Thanks.

No matter what light you choose, you're going to need ventilation, as any light will create heat.
In that size of a space, I'd go with some CFLs, I've had good results with 6 26w (100w equivalent) Daylight spectrum CFLs.
These will create some heat, but not so much that it couldn't be handled with some small intake/exhaust fans.

Thanks for the quick reply Doooobster. Will 3 plants grow comfortable in this space? Also, with the size of my cab, am I going to have to worry about tying plants down to keep them from getting too tall?

Hey Das, my pleasure bro. In my opinion, 3 plants would be packing it pretty tight in there if you gave them too much veg time... You could probably get away with it if you tried a 12/12 from seed grow, or maybe a 1-2 week veg time grow... They work pretty well for small spaces like that. You could possibly average an ounce per plant. :rastasmoke:
yep blb, that would be me :)

yeah, small space and confined. Have you thought about auto flowering low riders? I get about 2 O's dried from one ak47 and it doesnt get too tall.
Doob, boneman here. Got my hempy ppp & ak47 going into flower today. Day 42ish. Freaking AWESOME so far. Been waiting for the forum to get back up so i could start a thread, but I have just about given up on them.

I'm new to the game, could you explain what that means?
Also, where can I get some cheap, space effective bulb fixtures?

2 would be a better number then? How about this LSTing I have read so much about, would that be good for my situation?

2 would be better, but you could still face overcrowding if you let them veg too long.
Also depends on the strains you're going to grow... Sativas will want to grow taller, while Indicas will tend to stay shorter & bushier.
LST can work wonders... If you're gonna do it, start early (at around 2 weeks) to promote some bushiness, then switch to 12/12. Remember, most plants will double to triple in height once flowering commences, so use that as your guideline as to how long to veg.
Autoflowering Lowriders are a strain that stays really short, and flowers automatically, no matter what light photoperiod they're under. They're fast-maturing and will show sex in 2-3 weeks or so. Good choice for height-challenged grow spaces ;)

Dooobster, you have been incredibly helpful. Thanks.
Can you recommend any good, cheap bulb fixtures?

Das, my pleasure... Always happy to help or lend advice.
To answer your question, here's what I did when I grew with CFLs...
All parts available cheaply at Home Depot.

So Dooobster, using Rhizome's sticky as a guide, is it okay if the size of my passive intake exceeds the CFMs the fan can flow?

Also, would 8 lights be better than 6?
